My July Favourites
So July signals the start of the school summer holidays, a break from swim training and lots of local events taking place! It’s now almost the end of the month and I’ve taken a fair few photos so I decided to share a few that give a flavour of my month and what I’ve been up to…
Below are some of my July favourite photos:
You’ve got to make the most of this unusually hot, sunny summer in the UK by spending as much time outside as possible. This photo was taken whilst enjoying a drink at one of my favourite local bars, The Waterfront in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. We are so lucky to have this pretty canal basin just a stone’s throw from where we live…
I love all things vintage so enjoyed looking at the fantastic cars at the Hollowell Steam Show 2018… you can see more photos at Hollowell Steam Show 2018 in Photos.
This photo was just crying out to be turned into a black and white image!
There were so many beautiful cars… I loved the colour of this one and all its gleaming chrome!
And yet more vintage vehicles (we don’t normally spend this much time looking at old cars, honestly – these two events just happened to be on weekends we were free so we decided to check them out as they were local!)… This time we were at the Market Harborough Vintage Car Show 2018.
As well as admiring lots of classic vehicles, we also had a fantastic camping trip to the Peak District with friends… including an afternoon at beautiful Dovedale.
The best bit of our trip? Toasting marshmallows over the fire pit obviously!! Yummy!!
It’s been a good month for getting out and about, with lots of things going on, as you can see from my photos… So here’s to an equally busy and fun August!
What have you been photographing this month – ket me know in the comments!
